hi ,

it is a very good salary as long as they provide the housing and you do not have children who join school unless they offer the school fees.also with this salary it is easy to buy a brand new car or a used one.cash or with installment through the bank.for living price here are high but it is like this allover the world.here you can find good offers on food and clothes and the other stuff if you look well.you can find shops sells brands and regular stuff so paying money is up to you where and what you buy.

for social life.it all depends on your attitude in life .all nationalties are here so it is not a prison also you can perform you religion freely .there is a new church.

my last word is that being in a foriegn country is always a personal exceperience, depends om time place ,work and peaple around you .you may be very lucky or not.in general my family and i love it here,

good luck

Sometimes I wonder if people even read the question before they answer it.

He was offered QR20,000 plus fully furnished housing, so he doesn't have to worry about the high cost of rent. And I would check the offer, it normally involves a car allowance or company vehicle.

Tom: You need to convert the QR20,000 to your local currency to determine if it is worth coming to Qatar. If you are able to make/save more than home, then come over. If you can make that, or more, in your home country - then you probably want to stay home.

Use the search option (upper right corner) to research the cost of living, there has been hundreds, if not thousands, of posts on the subject. Do you honestly plan to make a life changing decision based on opinions of people who know nothing about you? Do the research and decide what is best for you.
