Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported:
Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: When there comes the month of Ramadan, the gates of mercy are opened, and the gates of Hell are locked and the devils are chained. (Muslim)

Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported:
When anyone of you gets up in the morning in a state of Fasting, he should neither use obscene language nor do any act of ignorance. And if anyone slanders him or quarrels with him, he should say: "I am fasting, I am fasting." (Muslim)

May Allah make us amongst those who are forgiven during this blessed and holy month. Ameen.

I hope they understand this fact when they drive to break the fast during iftar. It would sure give Schumacher a challenge.
