Salary 23000-25000 QR

Hi All,

I have been offered a job in Qatar the salary is 23000-25000 QR including every thing, I’m Algerian Telecom Eng 15 years experience IT/Telecom I’m married 2 kids 2years/3months. The Rota plan is: 2 weeks offshore / 2 weeks office onshore / 2 weeks off. I’ll visit Doha soon for 1 day interview.

un salut d'un de tes compatriote établie au Qatar depuis 2 ans plusieurs facteur rentre dans la salaire qui parait en premier temps bien mais si on te paye pas le loyer qui serait on va dire de 8000 et l’école sans oublier les dépense qui sont plus chère qu’on Algérie et le billet d’avion une fois par an qui est de l’ordre de 3800/pers alors a toi de faire tes calcule

Its basically a good offer. As long as you dont live like JAMES BOND here in Doha, that offer is good enough to start with.

oups, je viens de relire votre msg, vos enfants sont encore en bas age mais bon, avec votre experience, vous devriez demander plus,l'ideal c'est d.avoir une autre offre pour pouvoir negocier a la hausse votre salaire. A mon avis, votre salaire devrait etre au moins de 27 a 30 000 rials, plus bonus, plus allocation logement, plus allocation scolartite des enfants entre 3 et 18 ans, plus allocation voiture, plus allocationFurniture toutes les 5 ans. C,est que certaines entreprises donnent a leurs employes.

if your salary includes houing allowance and others, you can come very happily.

je me permet de repondre en francais puisque je presume que si vous etes algerien, vous allez me comprendre.

En fait les plus grandes depenses ici sont les ecoles et le logement. Les bonnes ecoles ( ont une tres tres longue liste d'attente) coutent entre 20 000 et 30 000 rials par enfant excluant les livres, l'uniforme, etc....

Donc, je ne sais pas quel age ont vos enfants mais essayez le lycee Voltaire, c'est une ecole qui suit le programme francais mais bon je ne sais pas s'ils ont de la dispo.

Sinon, autre prob, la circultation est un enfer, donc,choississez votre logement en fct de l'ecole de vos enfants.

Donc, assurez vous que votre cie paye, en ts cas, en bonne partie l'école de vos enfants.

Si vous avez d'autres questions, n'hesitez pas.

it all depends on what kind of housing you want. If you are bringing your family with you, you need at least 2 bedroom apartment. A decent one would be QAR 6,000 - 10,000 per month.
