I'm a Civil Engineer with more than 10 years experience and being offered by an American Company to work with them in Qatar. Is 18,500 all inclusive salary low or just fine fot a 3rd country nationality (TCN)?

Thanks to everyone who answered. I'm from the Philippines and going on a Single Status. The Company is giving separate back and forth ticket every year and full medical insurance. Basic is 12,000 QR and the rest are housing, food and transportation allowances.

Based on your answers' I think I have to renegotiate!

Salary seems low but you need to find out what is included in the package

Accommodation

Car Allowance

Travel allowance (for going home every year)

Basically I would not get out of bed for that !!!!!

It is way to low. Basic Salary should be minimum 25 000.- Then + Housing alowance, + Car Allowance

I think this should be a basic salary not all inclusive but anyway it depends on your nationality

depends on the breakdown, what basic, housing, allowances etc.

seems a little low, and if yr bringing yr family, it will be tough.
