There are 2 ways you can receive TV on your laptop (Terresterial or Satellite) and both will be through your USB port.

I guess you will have to settle for this one since you are in Qatar. Receive the channels through Satellite

DVB-S (S=Satellite). Link:

2. Through Terrestrial broadcast. (today almost redundant).Pinnacle Hybrid USB Stick (DVB-T , T = Terrestrial reception). Link:

So Remember the words:

DVB-S Satellite Tunner

DVB-T Terrestrial Tunner

If you are looking for internet TV on your laptop do a google or yahoo search for Internet TV. There are plenty of softwares which you can download and install. Most of them will provide you some selected channels which you can watch but dont expect to get all channels in it.

If you are looking for the TV channels which are available on your home TV then you should have a TV Tuning card on your laptop connected to the receiver.
