can this be right????? Warning
My husband has just been given a parking ticket (traffic violation) for parking outside City Centre - which is where everyone parks. There are no double yellow lines (or even single ones for that matter) no warning signs of any kind that you are liable to be fined etc. Can this be right, can we appeal. I don't mind paying a fine when it is clear that one should not park there, but I have parked there for months (so have a lot of people) without any kind of fine. To park there does not cause an obvious road hazard - in actual fact it lightens the burden of traffic inside city centre at busy/peak times.
Can someone enlighten me how this can be?
If u talk and they listen, it is better
but it is not an excuse that you had parked there for months and no one give tickets.
In Lulu hyper market, sometime there is police giving tickets, sometime we can park in the bylanes.....I dont know which is correct
If you can maybe provide a sketch or a picture of the exact place, that'll really help in explaining if it's a valid parking area or not. They give considerations if your appeal has bearing and make sure that you talk to a ranking official. Better stick to areas designated for parking and make sure that the slot is painted clear. ;)
Btw...better take a Arabic speaking person if you decide to go to the Police Station. If you are lucky, there might be an officer who will be able to communicate in english.
u better go n talk to them . they wil clarify u at the police station .
don't think so and there is no indication that it is a karwa waiting area - he parked parallel to the road next to the building site, not at the front of CC
did he park in karwa waiting area . coz if u park it they gift u a ticket.
