Demons/Jin while dreaming
I had a VERY disturbing experiance yesterday night when i went to bed, i fell asleep then some time after i woke up completly paralized, but i was awake, i could see everything in the room, could also hear my wife breathing, it was a blury vision, but i could NOT have been dreaming, coz i could see the watch on the table blinking and the time !!!
the most disturbing is to come, i felt like someone or something was in the room with me, i could feel it, it was there, i saw a portion of it, but could not tell what it was, i felt it touching me as well, but i was completly paralized !!! i could not move or shout ! the apparition was so close to me i could feel its breath, it could not have been my wife, since i had my back to my wife, and the apparition was infront of me !!
it is not the first time i experiance this, i did in the past on many many occations, experiance this as often as every night, some years ago ... then it suddenly faded away until yesterday !!
who has ever experiance something similar? i did some research on the subject online, it appears to be something VERY common, Christians refer to it as encounters with satanic beings/demon, they used to exorcise the people who offen experianced these apparitions.
In islam it is mentioned to be Jins (creatures created by the All Mighty, who lives among us and who are invible to humans, they are mentioned on the Coran, please google for more information on JIN).
i am now curious to find out how many of you experianced this ? if yes .. please share !
I have heard incidents like these and the jinn had to be driven away through prayers. I suggest you check it out with a learned man / Imam who is capable of doing this. May Allah protect us from all evil. Wassalam

thanks for the info .. i will probable do some research myself on this type of jinn, and the purpose he has in doing what he is doing ..
"Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
From what I've uncovered in research, djinn can be friendly or destructive, again, just like humans, but they have a proclivity towards mischievousness. There are humans who develop relationships with djinn, but it isn't something to be toyed with. In my research, the kind of djinn you are experiencing (yathoum) is not benign and is certainly not attempting friendship. It's important to keep remembering that you as a human and the djinn both have free will. It can not force you towards evil or wrong, so keep your faith and your mind strong. Maybe you should seek out a Mutawah who can help you with this type of djinn specifically. If he doesn't know enough about it, he will probobly point you to the person who does.
how can we be friends with a Jinn ? i mean isnt it dangerous ? does anyone have any ismalic publication in relation to this?
"Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
Might be the jinn wants to be friends with you..
Belive in Allah and make sure you pray your duas..
As far as paralysis is concerned..it can be your body goes numb when the blood circulation to those parts stop..
sometimes when i get up in the morning i dont understand anything..then when m fully awake..its back to normal..
The other day my best friend calls me..his call woke me up and m seeing the number and m like whaaat..i cant make out how to stop the ring..i knew his number so well still m like not able to identify..finally i press the answer button and m like yes..whos this..and he starts yelling at me saying like wht the hell cant remember me..den i became alrite..lol..
thanks for the info, i did not know the name of this perticular Jinn, so that added to my knowledge .. you described it well by saying that the sleeper gets a feeling of someone/something sitting on the chest or holding down the legs and arms ..
also you did mention the other part which i refused to disclose earlier one. this is so common that it again brings forward the undouptful truth of the existence of Jinn (as described in the Coran) ...
i found a review again yesterday which talks about sleep paralysis, but in the review itself, they did admit to fail to explain the resemblence of experiances and visions between all people experiancing this phenomena !
the worst is that upon waking up in the morning, there are undouptful signs that this was a real and not a dream .. of example .. in many of my incounters i did find myself underessed !! i NEVER go to bed undressed .. but in most times after experiancing this, i find myself undressed in the morning .. this is also very common in people experiancing this, if sleep paralysis explains the paralysis, then how do people get undressed when being paralysed?? other signs are also presend during waking time !
the resemblence of cases between people does not only date recently, they go back as far as Ancient times, it can even be observed in painting !
strange phenomena, but it is a shame that muslims scholars have not investigated this issue in depth ! most of the finding i have been able to collect have been of western researchers and priests !

I've been doing a lot of research on djinn and have come across many stories like yours that involve a kind of djinn that come to people as they sleep and paralyze them, often appearing to sit on the chest or hold the legs down. It usually is seen as a black mass, if it's seen at all, and will give the person a sense of panic and helplessness, followed by dread. There are other details, as you said in reply to one of the other comments... The name of this particular kind of djinn is called yathoum. As far as I have found in my research this kind of thing inflicts the pure of heart just as easily as the wicked. Djinn have free will, just as humans do, and often, their actions are no more rational than a humans and may not follow with reason. There has been some correlation between conflict in the home and the appearance of this djinn, so you might want to look into that possibility. It might not be you specifically that has the issue, but if it exists in the home and you are already sensitive to them, this may leave you vulnerable. I hope this information was helpful, and just remember, during Ramadan you will find respite from this and may have time to re-evaluate the situations that might be bringing this forward. Djinn are not something to be feared, but certainly should be taken seriosuly when they interfere in our lives. God Bless.
Whatever the case we fear none But ALLAH... sleep in regular hours and for sufficient hours.. dont think too much of all these... its nothing end f the day.. ...

i did come across the explaination of sleep paralaysis when i googled my case, the problem is that sleep paralaysis does not explain the complete story. for obvious reasons i cannot discuss on the website the other part of the experiance (but when u google it you will understand) and this last part in perticular cannot be explained if the theory of sleep paralaysis is brough forward !
thanks for the advice on self protection from Jinn..
"Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
Aki i had it too but that was because i had deprived sleep but when i started sleeping for sufficient hours i dont get anymore.
You can google sleep paralysis.
As far protection from jinn are concerned you can do the morning and evening adkhaars i.e after fajr and asr.. and do the necessary things while sleeping like wudhu, recite ayatul kurse, recite last two verses of baqrah, blow into ur hands and recite last three chapters of Quran and rub front of ur body wherever ur hands can reach from head face to rest.. and do the other duas ...
My personal experience and knowledge on jinn i can conclude this as sleep paralysis... u can google sleep paralaysis

I am muslim, and i believe in Jinn of course .. but i was wondering about the experiance i am having .. it is surely a supernatural event .. (JINN) but how common is it in the muslim world? there are alot of documentation on these issues in the western world, but not that much in the arab/muslim world !
other than reciting "Ayat Al Kursi" what else can be said ?
let me know your thoughts / experiances
"Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
Depending on your religion. Such things are experienced by various individuals. ===================================== http://www.qatarliving.com/node/58409
Dear mate!
These things do exists whether we belive it or not.its hard to belive until we experince it by ourself.if u r muslim then read quran and other hadiths and u can get other info about it from them.if u r from another religion then read ur BOOK ,research it that wat it says about jin.
In Islam there is no doubt that ALLAH created human beings from soil and jin from fire and human beings cant c them from the human eye.humans and jins are just the creatures of Allah.jins just like humans are the followers of different religions.som can b muslims, cristians or from any other religion.just like human there r good and bad jins.Bad one can tease humans in different ways if they want to.its the same like human want to tease another human.only differnce is that we cant c them but that doesnt justify their non existence.as they showed their existence by som other means.
Anyhow just follow Quran or ur BOOK it will guide u wat as religion is basically for guidance and to help human kind.u defenetly find somthing that wat u should do
did you shift to this apartment recently ? hope its not haunted :( becoz this is what some people experience when the room or the place is haunted but if its not harmful then its safe only the thing is that some people can see them like u and some cannot may be you have that power where you can see them. whats Ur faith ? religion ? IN QURAN there are many prayers to be safe from them or when you see them you can read this prayers. take care bye
again, nothing to do with stress and fatigue ! i am a healthy guy, i do 2 hours of gym everyday ! dont smoke ! so nothing to do with that either ..
"Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
Hope you are not depriving sleep or taking stress.......
surely it was no dream ! i could see !! my eyes where open !! so surely there was no dream ...
also it is not about the place, it did happen to me in different places ! and also in different countries !
if you google this you will find millions of common cases, it can never be that many people having the same dream !! in the same details !!
i want to investigate further this issue, here is another case: Qatarilady was stating, she experianced it and her husband too ..
it has also nothign to do with horror movies, i do watch alot but yesterday i have not watched one for weeks !! so that is ruled out !! but again it WAS NO DREAM !!!
"Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
I think you're probably having a nightmare , rather than coming face to face with a Jinn..
Blame it on the Winchester brothers. They were the one whole broke the last 666 seals & got Lucifer out.
stop watching horror movies and it will stop..khalas
some say, people who sleep peacefully have clear conscience
It is indeed very common. It happened to me once. It happened to my husband many times. If you're Muslim recite Ayah al-Kursy at bed time.
its Michael Jacksons Ghost....:(

BOYCOTT RELIGIOUS THREADS!!
Maybe that place is indeed haunted.
"but i could NOT have been dreaming, coz i could see the watch on the table blinking and the time" - that doesn't prove you weren't dreaming.
is everyone scared to talk about this or what ?
