Well it could be bad judgement on teachers part and I am sure if parents of those kids are not happy they would have already taken this matter up with appropriate persons.

I agree with Olive that if teahcer has not taken those buggers they would have snuck and seen it any way lol

You may think you know me well and indeed we have tried to remain civil with each other, but I have seen a number of your posts that imply a character that I find "off putting" and feel the need to respond to. I believe you are prejudiced against non-Muslims and Westerners, and either blind or hypocritical when it comes to the disgusting behavior of your so-called brothers and sisters in Islam.

I also don't like the way you are always calling for threads to be closed or people to delete when they say something you don't like. If you can't handle free speech, stay off the Internet.

Victory,

What an angel you sound in your reply.

It is obvious by your contributions and comments that you are all for western culture and do your best to promote and never waste your time in publishing silly nonsense articles like the above because those things do happen and they do involve young people from all faiths, nations, races and colors.

Go to any girly bar in Pat Pong and see how many Middle Eastern and Indians Muslims (amongst Westerns and Chinese and Brazilians and Africans and many other nationals) are in there, particularly during the eid holidays, after the Ramadan!

It would all be nice if you genuinely wanted to call the attention for a problem without having hidden agendas to target and attack certain groups in particular, which you don’t and that is why your angelic innocent good will, stinks hypocrisy!

PM,

You are absolutely right. The purpose of this post it to try to show that Victor and "his friends" are so pure and good and the westerns are so… not that...

Victory,

It seems that you feel a certain attraction to the topic!

Victory_278692

you have totally misunderstood my comments....

I never implied that.....

"Westerners export bad morals to the East".....

It is purely an individuals choice, perception and mindset what he/she would like to follow and decide about his family to acquire good / bad morals; and answerable to his Lord regarding himself and his Family.

Here, we are just highlighting pros and cons of such mishaps.

Your comments are very offensive, personal and racial...please do reconsider....or delete!

PM's quote "They no more do that than Afghanis, Pakistanis, Bengalis and Arabs EXPORT "disrespect for women and disrespect for human life" in the form of your extremely "DISHONORABLE Killings"...unquote

The issue of 'disrespect for women' is more to do with local social cultures and traditions; and could not be assigned to any nation...

This is happening around the World. Could be discussed in detail!

Check some of the post and decide WHO is actually 'Degrading Women's respect' and hold Responsible....

My teachers took us to a thermal power plant, a rail coach factory, a tractor manufacturing factory and..... Oh I can't even mention the rest, it's all so sad. Wish they learn something from these teachers...

Why, I didn't have teachers like them? I wish I had.

By anonymous• 11 Nov 2009 20:17

No one is defending this and indeed the 2 teachers who engaged in such activities will undoubtedly be punished. What I object to -- and some of my fellow QLers -- is you guys implying that Westerners export bad morals to the East. They no more do that than Afghanis, Pakistanis, Bengalis and Arabs EXPORT "disrespect for women and disrespect for human life" in the form of your extremely "DISHONORABLE Killings".

I am not surprised to see the typical hypocritical QL crowd like victor, dotcom and Khalid make the statements made here, nor am I surprised that it makes you all feel better to think your own societies are so pure and good and the non-Muslim West so evil. I'd be curious to know if you sleep well at night....

NOT defending the honor killings....

We are deviating from main topic, however as under the discussion.....

Islamic preachings and rules in general, stops all sorts of crimes, suspicion and nuissance at the main door (identifying and killing the root causes).......

Such cultural trips 'could' incite the following social issues;

1) Pre-marital sex and pregnancy

2) Single mothers

3) Same sex marriages and satisfy their sexual desires from unnatural ways.

4) Unsocial criminal activities such as drug abuse or

prostitution.

Not necessarily all are bad in this World and

know that most of us are very responsible citizens, parents and do respect modesty and local culture.

Thanks

Peace

we don't like or encourage sexual relations,

norm and to use this as an excuse to say the West exports bad morals is no different than people who say Eastern countries export a disrespect for human life because some Pakistanis and Arabs engage in so-called "honor killings" after immigrating to the West.

As usual, Khalid, you show yourself to be extremely naive and unable to view your own culture with a critical eye.

Like you say it's your opinion and you're entitled to it, but you did contradict yourself in both these comments

"In my opinion I see the west especially UK and exporter of bad morals and values."

and

"There are some westerns who are better than some Muslims and vice versa."

because some I know that there are British people who want their country to send the good values and morals.

There are some westerns who are better than some Muslims and vice versa.

As there was a British mother brought a striptease girl for her 14 years old son birthday at school.

Also last week the 11 years old British girl gave birth.

In my opinion I see the west especially UK and exporter of bad morals and values.

please no offence as this is only an opinion which you may not agree with.

Now when this group of kids get married they'll be swinging round poles and pee-ing needles on their wedding night thanks to this "practical" lesson!

I got a week in the Isle of Wight as well Snessy! Damn my school.

By Olive• 10 Nov 2009 10:34

Don't see why not. It's not the schools fault, it's the teachers. Part of the point of these trips is to experience the culture. Like it or not sex shows are a BIG part of what Thailand is about. While I think the teachers should have used better judgement, I'm not surprised the students saw one. If the teachers didn't take them, they would have snuck off and saw one themselves.

When we went to Paris when I was in Grade 12 our teacher took us for a walk through the Red Light district of Paris. We got to see the Moulin Rouge and everything. We never went inside though. And we also drank as well, as we were all of legal age there.

True, the children were between the ages of 16-18, but at the end of the day, the responsibility of their actions falls to the teachers and the school.
