Why people hate certain countries?

Straight Arrow

Some people for sure hate certain countries for different reasons and some of these reasons are:
This country makes segregation between people based on natiolnalities, money and wealth level, and colour, etc.
Recently a guy from Nigeria was caught and found guilty for the attack on the american air plane which was coming from Detroit.
I do not know why he did that, but what I know is that there are still some segregation by some American people on colours and origins, this will bring more hate.
This Nigerian guy could have been brain washed or he wanted to have revange for some of his relatives who could have been treated badly in USA (I am only assuming)
We are tought to respect all people and be nice with them.
Also never give a conclusion if you do not have facts.
Let us say no to this type of segregations.
Live and let live.
Can we avoid these segregations?

Thats because we pre set our opinion based on the news and media coverage given out even though u have not even visited the place or not met the accused person. As an example.. the first thing that come ure mind say abt Afghanistan .. its an insecure place ..so would many other places in world but since its not advocated we only perceive afghan to be unsafe..

Where the Nigerian guy's activities are concerned...I believe that sometimes especially where security is concerned "racial profiling" or segregation based on nationality or origin, age group, creed is a necessity.

Profiling is generally based on statistics or past experience. A certain age group (for ex 18 - 25), from certain countries (ex Nigeria), of certain creed ( maybe Muslims) are more likely to indulge in threatening activities.

I have been profiled during my travels to the West. Its frustrating, but at the same time, I feel more secure in the knowledge that when I travel from my point of origin A to point B, there are more chances of me making it to my destination alive. So go ahead check me, my baggage ,everything, even if it means offending by racial profiling, I dont care. Just make sure that no crazies get aboard my flight.

Yes, i m agreed with what tess_916 has said..

This beatiful planet has both good and bad people..Both r entitled to stay here..The fingers in our hand are not same, similarly everyone has different mentality, attitude, way of thinking...Some people really get washed away with a thought of hatred for other nation..But yes, they get punished by GOD as well somewhere in their life..

i guess segregation will always be there, if we all would be sincere enough to eradicate this segregation agenda then that would be a good sign for all of us.
