What are my rights regarding salary and annual vacation??
Dear All
last month i arrived in Qatar form India as an IT professional and after joining my company i came to know that the company has not paid the salary for the last three months to all their employees and it always do like that and my co workers also told me that i will not be able to take annual leave which is written in my contract as 14 days paid leave and 14 days indemnity annually. because the company does not allow annual leave and still if you want to take leave they will charge 5000 Qr as security, that u will come again after vacation.one more thing i also came to that the company will keep my one month salary for their security. And this things were not told to me either in the time of interview or at the time of agreement.
Please please help me and let me know the safest things i should do to tackle this problem as i am very disheartened by hearing all this information about the company
thanks for all your advice but if i will go to the labor law then i will lose my job or what because i have taken a loan and came to Qatar and without earning them i don't want to go back. and can you tell me the details about the the annual leave that whether by my contract i will be able to go back to India or not if i will complete my 1 year. and is there any law that before going for vacation i have to pay a security money ??
and if they ask me the money what should i do ??

Yes, to approach LABOUR LAW would be the best option for u..Don't delay or else you will be end up living in extreme pressure and depression..

It is same old story practice her in some of the companies as some companies never follow the rules regarding compensation is concern , as per law u are entiled to have annual vacation mention in the contract, if you have problem i getting them u can contact the labour dept c ring rd , near american hospital
