The western developed economies challenges
By Eidelweiss •
Following the recent shocking news of so many western countries in poor DEBT management many questions remained to be answered such as follows:
- Are these countries really 1st world economies?
- Does the western education really add value to the global population educational needs and has the education system failed ?
- Is the western education really focusing on making money amd not really adding value to the world population skilled workforce?
- Is the western currencies valued correctly or is just a system set to make the western economies more rich?
- Most surprising is how come the Eastern countries with such high popoulation and MEGA workforce can really do so well in difficult times with well manged banking systems?
- The poor Governance and unethical behaviour of Western countries is really beginning to surface now?
- Are most western countries really living a lie/Myth thinking that they are the best leaders in the world?
My main concern when deciding to post this topic is when I read so many articles in QL by westerners commenting that labourers deserve low pay and that western countries need to rescue eastern countries(the providers of labourers) who cannot manage their economies and provide for it's people.
Just remember "what goes around comes around" and it's now important for all nations to collaborate and not compete with each other to face the challenges of the world.
JJJ 75 and Slapper you are entitled to your views but botton line is that the majority of the population in the world is not interested in following leaders that can't lead and those that don't focus on environment and social responsibilty.
No doubt that we are going to expect more protest accross the developed and developing countries because people cannot trust the leaders of the world. We need a systems that is transparent and people need to understand how systens work including the financial system.Any manmade system is not complex.
There is a need to revamp the world education system to understand and infliuence the key decision makers in society/world.
Slapper - what is your fixation with war? It is just so weird and very off the point?
All my point is that we have gone through worse economic crises and still survived and I have no doubt, as bleak as it looks at the moment, that we will do so again.
JJJ - it was a question considering you come across as being a bit ho hum regarding the current crisis in capitalsim. Are you going to put in your tin hat and enlist so that the Murdochs of this world can maintain thier profits???
Slapper - why do you keep saying I want something like that, it is most strange, very off the point and something I did not bring up. Stop asking me questions which I have already answered.
I know what WW stands for (just checking you did) and for your information, I had relatives who fought and died and were prisoners of war in that conflict so NO and 3 times NO I would not wish this again - so stop asking me the same questions over and over and over.
JJ - you're kidding??? You cant follow a thread. WW is the outcome of the GD as you agreed. You want this?
what does WW stand for
I never mentioned anything about war - you did. Perhaps that is what you want?
JJJ - and all the indicators are that this crisis will be just as deep. Is a WW what you want to resolve the crisis??
Slapper - that might explain one depression but not all - that was all I was pointing out from your comment
JJJ- sit up straight, listen up and pay attention. I said the GD.
Slapper, there has been more than 1 recession/depression in the last 150 years.
Just if the poster wants to write such slanted and biased person views (for that is really all they are), he would be as well to back his claims up, which he has failed to do, otherwise they lack all credibility
JJJ - i believe it took WW2 to get out of the GD. This is what you want?
For the poster - it would be useful if you quoted where you got your facts from or gave examples of the things that you speak of. It is hard to take you seriously without these things - it just makes you look bitter and prejudiced. please give some bone fide sources.
Remember the western economies have gone through recession/depressions before and still bounced back, no doubt this will be one of them.
Not sure what the west has to learn form countries who murder their peaceful protestors?
EIDELWEISS- you say "These economies must learn to spend less time on writing procedures, standards and set up controls but build relationships and improve on their fundamental values of life." how do you do this within the framework of capitalism when it sile driving force is to maximise profit regardless of the social, environmental and human costs?? what is the future of the world under capitalism???
I am not surprised to see so much protest in the western countries.....more lies and dishonesty is catching up with them. At least the protestors have the guts to face reality and try to do something about it. There is a huge price to pay .....but it's going to take decades to recover from. so much for first world economies. These economies must learn to spend less time on writing procedures, standards and set up controls but build relationships and improve on their fundamental values of life.
This is all matter of facts and results from theory of Capitalism and Socialism or Socio-Economic principles putting in practice,
"The poor Governance and unethical behaviour of (Arab) countries is really beginning to surface now."The governments shoot their own people."Are most (Arab) countries really living a lie/Myth thinking that they are the best leaders in the world?"??
No - just a West knocker lol xoxox
Loving this post :-)
move a developed factory to the east because of cheaper labor ,leave many people without jobs in the west ,make good profit and then come to work in gulf as "expert" and lecture them about cheap labor
