Did any of IT guys had any update from JV or Woqod with regards to the offer, for the recent recruitment drive carried out by Woqod at various parts of india?

I have just attended one round which was a combination of both technical and HR, may be because of the time limitation.

Dont know. I have not heard anything from them yet, same story...2-3 weeks waiting time.

1BHK is ok for me but what is the actual saving after all expense in this salary...

Its for non IT position. All non IT guys were given offer letters immediately. 13500 according to qatar is just ok as qatar is very costly. A 2bhk unfurnished flat will cost around 6k, schooling minimum 500 QAR pm excluding transport.

Hey I have got offer letter and they given 13500 QR gross salary, now guys please let me know is it better offer ?

How's the company ? I got post OIL MOVEMENT AREA OPERATOR.

I have to arrange all like accommodation, schooling, transportation in this salary.

My life style is simple so please Let me know how much I save in this salary.

Company will provide family medical and their ticket and yearly bonus which is not include in this salary.

Did you get any response from WOQOD after the HR Interview ? Even I had gone through HR Interview and was shortlisted. I have not heard back from them after that.

Yes, i was interviewed on 1st feb..they said they"ll let know in 2 weeks

Sorry...I have not checked the blog after that last comment from my side. I have attended the interview held in mumbai, it was good but client gonna let us know the feedback only after 2-3 weeks. Hope you might also have done with yours.

Which position were u interviewed for? I have the interview on 1st in mumbai.JVI email mentioned that there will be a HR interview immediately after the tech interview.it will be better if you can share your no.

I was there for the interview today at bangalore, They informed that they will provide me a feedback after a week, Was this the standard for all or some of them were put across the HR interview and offered.

I couldnt get any ones number from todays interview to get a feedback, appreciate your reply on this one.

Thanks for the comment...yes, I got the call from JVI.This is for a control systems automation engineer position and they mentioned that it is an IT position but I don't think so from the title "Control Systems"...what about you? got call for the same?

Is transporatation a major concern in qatar.Will this be part of allowances (normally). Hope there are someone here working in Qatar Fuels.

if you are getting that basic then you are offered a senior position.  with family status and all allowances in, you will be getting around qr25000 per month. now you can think about it.

Hi NewmakerBasic salary is no doubt very low being Engineer with good experience, hence you must negotiate a good package. However take my advise, as you are working in MNC in India which is a dream job for every Indian as your future is secured with fund, pension, other facilities. Hence never resigned and come here instead take few months leave sick/unpaid, and check how you manage here. If all went OK and you satisfy fully, then you can think for permanent stay here else at least you'll have an option to return peacefully.  

Even truck drivers are getting salaries upto 8000 QR.. thn how they are offering you 8600 QR while you are a engineer with 6 yrs experince.. and remember qatar is very expensive in renting accomdation.. if you want to have a nice flat that will cost you minimum 6500 QR...

That also matters.As QP gives it...

The basic salary is low.

As for other expenses

Housing will come to QR 6000 to 8000/- for a 2/3 bed room flat. QR 12,000/- above for villas.

Food expenses excluding dining out QR 3000/- min

Health insurance coverage very important.

Flight tickets and school fees are expensive so need to be negotiated

Be very clear about your salary AND benefits before you land in Doha. Cos once in you cannot change sponsorship

WOQOD is a nice company... no doubt ... n lucky u got their.. but as mobel mentiond ask for free accmdtn.. since tht will cost u more...
