or you can do like they used to do at times of war. Inserting it anally. I know there are better ways but this might give you the feeling of danger, smuggling, maybe a rush that you are doing something in secret, although it is money and perfectly legal to get in.

In a way, this is what you get for asking a silly question. I represent the awful minority that answers sarcastically. You can hate me or even sue me. I'm still gonna sleep well, wake up at 12 pm tomorrow and have my Gloria jeans Latte.

I hope that helps

I think its better for you to bring your ATM with you. On my own opinion I can't do to estimate your expenses on a day people have different way to live everyday. I mean we have different style of living.

Call to the bank which you have account. they will tell you the limit. Carry Indian money to airport. Exchange to qatari riyal from a bank counter at departure/destination airport.

Carry cash in USD, its the easiest mode ...dont worry too much about it. How much depends on you, however about USD 5K should be good enough to start with as accommodation and transportation is being provided by the company. Check how much in foreign currency you can carry without any questions being asked at the airport, jut in case, as I think their is a ceiling on it.

Hi Friend,

I would suggest not to trust on ATMs. Better you convert INR to USD in India itself and carry US Dollars of around 500-700. It would be sufficient for your fooding & other expenses for one month provided your company providing accomodation.

Thanks.

well when coming to doha you need to carry your belonging in a bag which you can hang around your neck along with your passports, then transfer them into your atm card

always be sure to have at least 400 riyals in your pocket, keep them in the hundreds so whenever you feel like buying something you could snap out of it, and keep the money for an emergency reason.

Dear,

U cannot bring more than rs 7500.00 from India.Best option is carry cash from Delhi & exchange in Qatari riyal here in Doha in any exchange houses.there are many exchange houses.no worry.

Please ignore what q-life told you. Don't trust anybody when it comes to money. If you have debit card from your bank in your country, bring it and use it for your daily expenses. Otherwise, bring cash...just enough for 1 to two months allowance for your foods and extra expenses till you receive your salary.

Use a debit card from your big home country banks like state bank of India or ICICI; you will get a good exchange rate using the ATM
