Dear Eaglesdare, one other way for you to decide is based on end-of-month savings here as compared to India. You need to be able to save at least twice the amount that you currently save in India.

Also, are you being offered a similar position (if not better) than in India?

1. Are 35-40 K salaries achieveable in FM vertical keeping nationalities etc in mind?

2.What wud be the cost of a decent lifesytle inclusive children(2) education ?

3.As the salary in Qatar is Tax free.Employers wud try to decrease the current Indian salary while negotiations.Is there a logical argument countering the same?

And moreover you are a future VP of the company u are working there is much future for you in the same company. As you say you have done your Engg. in REC you can use all your talents in India..

Here you cant expect the same as you are working there. Then you decide about the salary.

You seriously do need to consider the reasons for the move.

To justify the move on purely monetary terms, you need to have a 30% hike on your current gross; that makes it a minimum of QR35k a month.

You are already drawing a handsome salary in India. My suggestion is dont come here unless they are ready to pay you not less than 40,000 Riyals a month. Rest is upto you...

Hi Currently as a standard facilities company pays Qr.7000 to Qr.10000(full package)As i told that you can demand more than Qr.10000 checking if the candidiate required by company is on urgent basis...it happened many times which i have been seen that the employees which are been hired on the urgent basis gets more paid as per their demand than other employes of same position..Best Of Luck...

It depends on the companys profile and on your demand...If you can tell me the companys name then may be approximately i can guide you as i am also working for a facilities management company in Doha...
