Stay in Doha if office is in Ras Laffan

Dear Members,
What are the best localities to Stay with family, if my office is in Ras Laffan. I would prefer avoiding Traffic of Doha. So, any decent area towards the Ras Laffan to have minimum traffic?

Also, what could be the Housing Rent in such areas for 1 BHK semi furnished Flat in Apartment and in Compound? My life style is average and my family consists of me and my wife only.

Thanks for your valuable feedback.

If all goes well, I will be arriving Qatar by Mid May. It will take further 1-2 Month to get my wife here. Till the time, I will be able to look for decent 1 BHK flat in Al-khor.

If you could give some inputs about Flat Rentals for 1 BHK Semi furnished flats in Apartment or Compound in Al Khor area.

I think Al Khor is much beautiful than Doha... Calm and Quiet. Even little more greenish.. And once came in to work, you will hardly find time to roam around with family everyday. So, suggets Al Khor.

Al Khor is a big town same as Al Wakra. Plenty of Indian Families there.

I have heard Al Khor is like a village area where we don't find groceries easily and there are nothing to do much for families such as Park or Shopping mall. Are there Indian families staying in Al Khor?

Also, please let me know what could be the House Rent in the Areas Duhail, Madinath Khalifa and Merkiya for 1 BHK Semi furnished flat?

your best option will be al khor since its just you and your wife.....otherwise Duhail, madinath khalifa and merkiya
