IT Administrator/Trainer Salary range

Hi everyone. I got an offer from one of known company in Qatar.

I would like to know how much would be an estimate basic salary (not including allowances) for IT cum Learning & Development Admin and Trainer of an expatriate having the following qualifications:

6 years experience in Middle East
4 years experience in home country
Microsoft Certified Professional
B.S. Computer Science Graduate
Excellent written/oral English

Still undecided in an offer.

Hi Ruel, the salary range is depend on your grade levels, let say the employer give you a grade level 6, maybe your basic salary range from 7800~9500QR, plus a housing allowance and transpo (for government) but for private company except QP maybe lower.

It's not about deserve, it's what you will be offered by a lot of employers not only in Qatar but throughout the GCC based on your nationality.

Is it fair? No. But it happens nearly everywhere.

lets say I'm from Asia, would it mean I deserve the offer from that company meaning almost half than normal market norms?

It will also depend on the colour of your passport. Western passport holders generally get better salaries and benefits even though their qualifications/experience are no better than their Asian and African colleagues.

You're right. Your salary is a pittance with all the high cost of living here in this place. Stay put since money can't buy you everything.
