Reputation of 2010 or 2011 Ford Escape in Qatar?
In preparing to relocate from the UAE to Qatar, I've decided it best to sell my 2004 Chevrolet, as chances are slim to none that I will be able to register such a vehicle in Qatar, and purchase a vehicle for export manufactured in 2009 or later. In keeping a look out for deals here in the UAE too good to pass up, I've come across a December 2010/January 2011 Ford Escape (76,000km) for 35,000 AED. My online research tells me this vehicle is likely going to need certain repairs that a relatively newish vehicle should not need. But perhaps these reviews do not pertain to the 2010 Ford Escape in the Middle East (my wishful thinking). What is the reputation of this vehicle in Qatar? Are there some mechanics/garages known for doing very good work on Ford vehicles? Thanks for your help.

The service agent for Ford here is terrible and best avoided at all costs. I got rid of a car that I really liked purely due to their incompetence of the staff I had to deal with.

Better spend more and get a japanese car, it will save you money and time and headaches
