Hi All,

Have been told I might be given accomodation in Barwa city when I finally move in a couple of months. Wanted to ask if anyone is currently living there, and how things are. We're being told it might be a 2 or 3 bedroom place. Any information you can share is much appreciated.

its a beautiful neighborhood...bt if u are new in Doha and dont have a car, big problem...as no grocery store near by...u have to have a car / cab for daily commuting ...the problem is it is out of the city, so u cant hire a cab by just walking out on the street..either arrange for a reliable private cab (illegal of course), or call at karwa good 2 hours before your travel time)

Lulu us due to open...bt not earlier than 2 to 3 months..

kids school may / may not be at walking distance, depending on your building..

nice parks and open area for cycling / walking / kids to play bla bla...which u wont be easily getting if u r in doha city....

quite far from downtown / business hub so to and from office may take longer time...bt once u r at home, it is nice to stay in community area... which company are u joining in?

Molten as always... very stupid and pointless answer. Better you not say anything as every time you open your mouth the stupidity shows.

Zackm - Read the question again please, your answer makes no sense at all.

Eyad - why does rent concern you, read the question.

It is another one of those places where Qatar allocates expatriates. Be with many or be different and move away from the crowds, depends on you!
