Very rich businessmen hide millions of dollars, have tax lawyers to protect them. But for common people who early just an average salary, we cannot afford to fight CRA.

Nice guess, but went wrong. I have that already. Actually i am doing logistics courses now and work as well. I need to complete all the courses to graduate. By then i will have enough experience as well. That's the reason.

I am assuming that you'll get your nationality in 2016.

I would suggest that you get a few more years experience and then apply abroad

Good luck

QUFac, i actually mean to say QAR 15k. My fingers thought money is always $. So typed that way. Regarding CRA search, how do they know unless i declare myself? I may want to deposit a part of my earning in some other banks of another country?

I am hoping that you are saying, 15000 QAR not dollars. By the way, talk to a tax consultant before you accept the job offer. Every riyal paid to you is taxable in Canada, including housing, transportation, moving expense, flights return home etc etc unless you give up all you ties to Canada since Qatar is not a tax treaty country with Canada. Your basic salary, special allowance or any kind of allowance, are all taxable. Dont dream of tax free salary. CRA will come behind you and ask you to pay taxes and penalties. Remember, if you have unpaid student loan, you are a resident of Canada. I have seen on this forum full professors (not assistant professors) getting paid only a total salary of 25000 qar per month - someone who hails from France. So, dont expect 15000 $. You will be lucky if all of your compensation package together include 15000 QAR.

To get 15k you have to have at least 12/15 years of experience. To make things simple for you, what you will get now in Qatar is the same salary you are getting in Canada without the taxes and with free accommodation. You should be happy if you get 500-1000USD more than that.

$15k per month it per year? Surely you aren't expecting $15k per month with a total of 2.5 years experience? ?

I have 1 yr of work experience so far. Because of personal reason, i cannot go any other country until 2016 Oct. By then it will be 2.5 yr of work experience. I have 7.5 bands of ielts score. I am thinking now i should accept $15k plus benefit. I may be wrong. Lets see how it goes.

Since you haven't said how many years experience you have its impossible to give any sort of meaningful answer. I'm likely to agree with Yacine - depending on your skills experience and employer your likely salary could be between 10000 and 20000. Have you even applied for any jobs here yet?

Kavin is joking. It really depends but let's say, if you are going to work in the government, you will get 22-23k and free housing and possibly 3k more in allowances. If you go with the private it really depends can go from 10k to 45k.

Quicky, i hope so. That's why interested. Kevin and Molten have entirely different assumption regarding possible pay scale 2k-25k. Still confusing.
