Don't come situation is not at best. Things here are expensive, especially housing. 9800 or 10K may not be enough. But just survive month after month, without savings.

It is NOT enough, and you will be miserable in Qatar with that salary. And as people said before, you won't be able to bring your wife here permanently. As for the visit visa, it won't allow her to get a driving licence or even to be treated for free in hospitals. Try at least to get free and decent accommodation from your company, but without that, no need to come.

To make it clear: if you love your wife, insist that the company provides a family residence visa for her. Tell them, you won't come without her. It's just as simple as that.

I guess they made it QAR 9,800 so he CANNOT bring his wife, on purpose. Maaw, ask your company to provide a family visa for your wife. If they don't forget it!!

He said, serg, all is included, no extras for accommodation or transport. IT IS NOT ENOUGH. Period.

Can't see them giving 2000 transport allowance

Not bad. If the company provides you family accommodation. Transportation is also very important, if the company do not provide it, you must claim at least 2000 qr for it. Because taxis are expensive in Doha

why 9800 and not 10000...just 200 you could not negotiate

If they can offer 9,800 then push for at least 10k. Don't accept less - you'll face other problems (getting a visa for your wife).

Less...and iam wondering with that salary how can you sponsor your wife...once again it is less and i wonder why did you have to include all in this case

The QAR 10,000 for family visa is NOT negotiable unlike the payment of traffic fines!

If you are from the east, it is good. If you are from the west, it is poor.

Yes, but for a permanent visa you need to earn a minimum of QAR 10,000.

If you earn less than QAR 10,000 you cannot bring your wife on family visa unless she is sponsored by a company.
