The Pakistani members of the International Ladies’ Potluck Group yesterday held a number of activities as part of the group’s brunch being organised at the Al Jazi clubhouse.
Besides presenting a cultural dance, the women stole the show by displaying an array of bridal attires and typical traditional dresses as well as accompanied accessories usually worn by Punjabi women on the wedding day.
Members also enjoyed rich Pakistani delicacies such as aloo chana, pilau rice, halwa, suji, chicken tikka, boli and kebab with naan bread.
On the sideline of the event was a table-top sale of hand-made materials such as beads, jewellery and fabrics of different colours and designs.
