حقیقت نہیں ھوں یارو بس اک سراب ھوں میں
جو دیکھا نہ ھو کسی نے وھی خواب ھوں میں

کس منزل کے ھیں مسافر کس سمت بڑھ رھے ھیں
دے نہیں پایا جواب کوئ اور لا جواب ھوں میں

بے گھر مسافروں کو رہ منزل میں کیا دکھاوں
جس کی اپنی نہیں ھے منزل وہ خانہ خراب ھوں میں

مجھے پی کے کیا کرے گا کچھ اور پی لے ساقی
جس میں نشہ نہیں ھے بس وہ شراب ھوں میں

یہ کیسا زمن ھے ایا نھیں جس کی قدر کوئ
میں وہ ادمی ھوں اظھر کھلی اک کتاب ھوں میں

Haqeeqat naheen hun yaro bus ik saraab hun main
jo dekha na ho kissi nay wohi khawaab hun main

kis manzil kay hain musafir, kis simt barh rahay hain
day nahi paya jawaab koi, aur lajawaab hun main

bey ghar musafiron ko, rahae manzil main kia dikhaon
jis ki apni naheeen hai manzil, woh khana kharab hun main

mujhay pee kay kia karay ga, kuch aur pee lay saaqi
jis main nashaa naheen hai, bus woh sharaab hun main

yeh kaisa zamman hai aya, naheen qader jis ki koi
main woh admi hun azhar, khulli ik kitaab hun main
