Blanket of Love for Philippines Typhoon Victims

A group of friends here in Doha, Qatar decided to help the victims of one of the strongest typhoon ever to make a landfall in the the world, by donating blankets and used clothes which, aside from food, water and medicines, are also part of their much needed necessities.

From a group of 7, their efforts expanded to hundreds, and more are expected to participate. They would like to thank everyone who helped this worthy cause.

We surely hope that we can give comfort to those who needed them the most in any way we can.

The group managed to make 10 mega size boxes consisting of blanckets and used clothes, toiletries, etc. for the 1st shipment. 2nd and last shipment has been finalized as well, and ready to be loaded on Saturday.

The shipment will be directly sent to Sagip Kapamilya where the group has contact person from ABS CBN news channel to receive the items. To the Blanket of Love team, we salute you!!!

Hello Bublebee... You can go to LBC in Wakra, they accept boxes for freight to the Yolanda victims for free but via sea cargo. or to Conor International Cargo who can give you special rate for the Yolanda relief drive. hope this helps... :-)
