I had my doubts. Just went over the housemaid section - calling each one saying I'm willing to work for free for 8+ hours - just give me 1 hour for learning the Qatari dialect. People were kind and politely refused. WHY?

Qatar is quite a conservative society and therefore to be honest, I think you would have a hard time finding a host family.

If you did, they would be outgoing and would probably communicate in English
