I must have heard this over a dozen times today - on Twitter, Whatsapp, Facebook and in the comments here on our beloved QL.

"Why doesn't Qatar build proper drainage?" - if you haven't noticed, there is lots of infrastructure development going on!

There will always be those people who only focus on the negative - we can't escape them. But we should just ignore them - because like it or not, Qatar will host the World Cup, and everyone here will help to make sure its a success.

Ignore the haters! They are actually part of the problem - if they stop complaining and focus on doing their jobs properly, we will have less issues here to deal with.

Drainage Problems are not big issue for such Country, authorized to organize FIFA WOrld CUp 2022....There is enough time for them to remark and to solve the infrastructure problems, surely it will be completed everything before World Cup 2022.

The primary point is the infrastructure is still on going. One part of the country may have a developed network, but the other part, which is undergoing a construction might not have yet...this leads to clogging on the streets. Regarding the flooding scenarios, I felt at least they should have kept these vacuum trucks at hand earlier than later. Vacuum trucks are a temporary solution, but until the infrastructure is complete, would have been efficient and cost effective.

Heavy rains and its consequences are not miseries. This can happen or the worse in any part of the world. And this is not by any means a mess. It's a natural occurrence.

Remember the Brazilian supporters don't look good in the rain
