This place is no more Lebanese. What a shame. The only Lebanese thing is the name of the plates they serve and Fairouz songs.
Went there recently. Here are my observations:
1. They do not have a printed menu. The man insisted that he will tell us what plates they have and we can order. When we discussed and did not buy what he sold, he told us that they ordered the new menu and it is still in the printing press for more than 2 weeks. When we insisted, he got us a piece of paper with someof the plates printed.
2. The food is not wow. They us a lot of citiric acid to prepare hommos and mutabbal
3. We had to wait for 75 minutes and did nt get the mixed grills. The place was not crowded. We finished the starter and waited like forever. When we inquire through the waiter, he keeps telling 1 minute, then 5 minutes, then a moment and it will be ready.
Eventually I had to cancel the grill thingie, settle the bill for whatever I actually got. Walked away feeling sorry for having such a wonderful place run in a very bad way.
