Lycée Voltaire

"The Lycée Voltaire is born from the desire of His Highness the Emir of Qatar open to the richness of all civilizations and all cultures.
This idea was supported by His Highness the Crown Prince, even as he asked me why do not more Qatari students attended the French School of Doha.
I told him it's because religion, the Arabic language and history of Qatar were not taught.
His Highness then took the initiative to establish a Franco-Qatari high school that would be able to meet the aspirations of the Qatari society. This was launched in September 2007
