Ladies and Gents of the shutter bug persuasion,

Good to see the photo group still going strong however not so good to see the monthly comp having passed by the wayside!!!

My first passion (other than the wife and trusty chewy dogs) is still photography and can relate to the majority of posts going on the photo group (specifically the GAS.....cant wait for christmas day as I know how many new items Im about to get).

I have been very active in the photography field in my absence, a website was very nearly created with a web design company here in country however it failed at the last hurdle.
I am currently involved in setting up a stocks and prints website so I shall be requiring talent from all photog's in Qatar and the region at some point in time.
Please keep your eyes peeled on events coming up in Qatar and displayed on QL, sports, social etc all will be great to get those perfect shots (Im loath to those who completely alter images using photoshop, photography IS ABOUT the eye of the photographer after all), now the weather is cooler consider the following for photoshoots (personal and as a group):
Singing Sand Dunes (dunes plus the locals that are super friendly)
Zekreet Peninsular (movie set, pink flamingoes)
Building Sites (architectural, good light, workmen)
Rally's (it is the season)
Losail (GP, Superbikes is now the time of testing round the world if you can get in)
Beaches (watersports again cooler weather etc people will be out there with kite boarding, blow karting (Wakrah))

Happy snapping...
