RAW VS JPEG : The Real Difference

One of the most confusing things for an amateur photographer is, getting to understand the difference between RAW images vs the Jpeg . Jpeg is the compressed form of the image and looses some amount of data after being saved. In contrast, RAW files undergo negligible compression allowing better post processing options and are higher in quality. Anyway which is better ? Mark explains it in the below video..
