Dhow Trip...QLSG 22.05.2009 *FRIDAY*
Good morning all dear members of the Qatar Living Social Group!
Hope everyone had a fab weekend...
Alright, the weather is still quite nice, yes it is getting HOT by the day and thats why,
QLSG is planning to have a DHOW TRIP out into the sea...
I'm sure quite a few members have already attended previous Dhow Trips...and know what it is all about...
To those who may want to attend for the first time...
It is primarily an experience of going off-the Land into the sea where we have something called as Banana Islands which is a lovely place that provides absolute luxury of sitting on a beach and enjoying some really nice waters...
The Dhow would be docked off the islands shore and you would be transported there in a separate motor-boat...
Leisures that are available there:
1) Fishing
2) Swimming
3) Camping
The journey is about 45 mins one-way...
We would set sail off...these details will be sent to you via email to those who confirm...
Note: We understand that this is a very short notice but this is being done since after this, it will be getting very hot, and many people would start / leave for their Annual Vacations in the following month...
So thats why this is being done this weekend...
And since there is a fair bit of Logistics involved we would require Immediate Confirmation from members...
We apologise for the Rush but hey to have some fun, a bit of rush and excitement is always welcomed...right...
We would probably leave in the morning at around 0900hrs and return back to shore by about 1600hrs...
Depending on the price (which would be about in the range of 150/- - 200/- per person) and this would depend on the number of people in the Dhow too... in the following couple of days exactly 2 days (48hrs) you would be informed whether this will be catering for the food as well!!!
So keep an eye out on this space...and in the meanwhile...

Each Dhow is about 25 pax...so its purely FIRST COME FIRST SERVE!
So if you think you and your family are up for it...please put down your Availability and Confirmation AS SOON AS POSSIBLE>>>!!!
