Our trip to Rumaillah
A few may know that we girls had planned a trip on saturday to rumaillah hospital to visit the old and long term residents over there.
well it was a really humbling experience and did make us realise how fortunate we are.
like i had mentioned in another post that although those patients are free people, they are prisioners in their own body, for some or the other sad reason, they are limited to the confines of that hospital.
like Gypsygal told, one old blind lady especially touched our hearts, because she was sitting on her bed with her bags packed, and asked us to get her a cab becasue she is supposed to go home.
old age is inevitable, but it will be a blessing to be healthy and have family and loved ones around you when you get old.
