My PDA History
After the previous post on new Palm device, I just realised that I'm probably a bit of a Palm fanboy. This may seem strange given that Palm is a sort of businessy gadget.
My frst PDA was a Psion 3c which was such a beautiful device. You could do amazing things on it and it wasn't much larger than a cheque book.
That got stolen (it took me a while to recover from the loss - there were days when I would just sit and read my user manual and sulk). So I then got my first Palm - a Palm 3
I then got a Palm Vx (great form factor)
Both of those were black and white devices. Finally a got Handspring Visor Platinum which had a colour screen.
I then detoured into the world of Windows Handhelds briefly with a HP handheld before selling it...only to get a Palm Treo 650.
I love my Treo - I couldn't live without the QWERTY keypad it has. In fact, during the times I use another phone I hardly bother to type SMS messages since it's just too painful.
I am a bit dissapointed with Palm though - they still haven't got WiFi on the Treo's (mobile operator pressure I suppose) and the camera's are low res.
I reckon my next buy will either by a Nokia N95 or more likely, an Apple iPhone.
What about you?
