Online Photo Editors
Need to edit some pictures but don't want to go the Photoshop way.
Here are some online photo editors, all free, ranging from the basic to the complex.
Phixr http://www.phixr.com covers all the basics; cropping, brightness, sharpen, etc.
There is a time-lag, though, between commands and implementation.
Fauxto (pronounced photo) 
http://www.fauxto.com lets you work with layers to create all kinds of impressive effects.
Picnik http://www.picnik.com comes with some nifty special effects, and can be used with several photo sharing sites, such as Flickr, Imageshack, Photobucket, etc. It's not as powerful as Photoshop, naturally, but for a browser-based image editor, Picnik does a fine job.
PXN8 http://pixenate.com 
is a Flickr-optimized online editor. If you're not into Flickr, the editor still offers a lot of simple, useful editing tools.
And, finally, 
http://www.wiredness.com
lets you perform simple photo-editing tasks using nothing more than your browser.
You can upload a photo (up to 5MB) from your hard drive or pull one from Flickr or a URL. Editing options include cropping, resizing (via an excellent slider tool), brightness/contrast and various Photoshop-style effect filters.
