Parvathy Omanakuttan - I runner up

Parvathy Omanakuttan, who represented India has been crowned the first runner up in the 58th Miss World Final ‘08 event. Much was expected of her from the start of the event and among the 109 contestants who vied for the Miss World ‘08 title, her name was announced last in the 15 semi finalists but without any delay her name sprang up again for the 5 finalists at the start itself which saved her from nervous pangs. Having said all these, much was expected of her to win the title. Her quick yet sensible answer for the penultimate question was what made her to make it to the last five. Sadly, her last answer didn’t impress the jury to a great extent. Nevertheless, she has made India proud especially all the MALLUS, winning this title.
