Eggspectation Qatar Continues to Engage with the Local Community with a Recent Visit to The Qatar Foundation for Elderly People (IHSAN)
Doha, Qatar: 27 June, 2016 – Eggspectation Qatar, the iconic Canadian restaurant-café, recently participated in a community engagement initiative where a team of 10 staff from Eggspectation visited The Qatar Foundation for Elderly People (IHSAN) last Sunday, June 19 for Iftar. The popular local restaurant is unwavering in its commitment to give back to the local community and looks forward to continuing to support similar causes and partnering with local organisations on an on-going basis.
During the Iftar, which took place at IHSAN, the Eggspectation staff met with 25 elders as well as some care takers, to enjoy a delicious Iftar meal, and to celebrate the Holy Spirit of Ramadan with some of Qatar’s elderly people, providing comfort, joy, and establishing long lasting memories during this special occasion.
Eggspectation Qatar owner, Mr. Sami Azrak, said: “Even before the opening of Eggspectation earlier this year, we have always believed that it is important to always give back to the community around us. During the Holy Month of Ramadan, I truly believe that this is now more relevant than ever. We were extremely fortunate to have enjoyed a lovely Iftar with the elderly community at IHSAN, and we are keen to participate in similar initiatives that have a positive and lasting impact for the people in our community in the near future.”
During the Holy Month of Ramadan, Eggspectation has confirmed that it will be open from Iftar time until 3:30 AM with last orders taken at 3:00 AM. The restaurant-café will also be open for takeaway from 2 PM daily throughout Ramadan.
Originally opened in Montreal, Canada back in 1993, Eggspectation has already made a mark worldwide with multiple locations across North America, India, Dubai and now Qatar. There are plans for an additional two Eggspectation restaurants to be opened in Qatar over the next 24 months.
