Anti Depressants - Zoloft - can they be brought through customs
My 82 year old mother is coming for a visit in December. She is completely healthy and not frail but she takes 2 x 50mg tablets of Zoloft everyday. I have read articles about the government stance on anti depressant medication. She will be here for a month, therefore she needs to bring in sixty plus tablets.
She has a letter from her doctor, and the original prescriptions.
Because she is worrying about it the doctor is considering increasing her daily dosage!!
Any advice would be most welcome
Yes, you can bring the medication in- it is not a problem. I brought my medicines in with no problem. You can also buy that medicine here without perscription at the pharmacy!
I buy mine and it saves me a lot of money since I no longer have to pay to have it shipped and then the hassel to pick it up.
There are a lot of people bringing in long term medications in their person from abroad. As long as you have a prescription no one can stop you from bringing them.
Hi,
As long as you have the original doctor's prescription and preferably a note that it is a long term medication and essential for her to take the medication,it shouldnt be a problem.
Take care!!
