Any place doing charity work in Iraq?

Guys, I have a question. Call me crazy and all, but as I have time off in December I'd like to do some charity work. I've set my eyes on going to Iraq - as a Brit I feel throughly ashamed of the mess we've made in the country for those poor Iraqi people. And I know that I'll probably not make a large impression through what I do, but I feel that it is important for someone in my position to try and help..Does anyone know of any charities here in Qatar that would accept civilians to help out in any way???

I appreciate the comments on safety guys, but hey, Iraqis live with that every day of their lives. most don't have the opportunity to escape. Me, I'll probably be going there a month absolute max....And yes, I am willing to take that risk - to do whatever I can to at least ease the lives of people is 100 times greater than safety issues for me....

Safety First. We all have the same feelings as you have for Iraqis. We are so blessed that we are living in an area where there is no bombarding. Do you really want to go there?
