Boat Trip (M.O. Wreck) - Great Visibility

kutch
By kutch

It's M.O. Wreck again!!! Forecast is
great and we are expecting to have 8 Knots and below wind so no waves
and swell.... We travel for 1:30 hrs only using Yamama 1 fit with
outboard engine 2x 250 HP Yamaha....

You can see from the top the
wreck, this is very very rare in Qatar and we have this experience
really COOL!

Everyone got excited and ready to dive
and some want's to do free-dive first (I'm one of them)

Now everyone is ready, and
ready to explore the Wreck.

Toni our instructor and Tish
are waiting for some diver to descend. Current was a little bit strong
having something like 1.5 to 2 knots but the rest of dive was tolerable
it just needs some good planning during the dive. We are lucky we have
our OLD TIMER Instructor who knows what's best!

Deep blue? nope I was
inside the wreck

Inside the deck.

Bubbles everywhere and divers
was so happy with the visibility.

Now we are at the bottom, it's
20.6 Meters deep but I've been in 21.3 Meters

Spotted a lion fish resting at
the bottom.

Electrict Ray at the bottom,
this will give you shock up to 240 Volts. YES 240 Volts electrict shock!

Spotted school of jack fish
during our asscend. This was literally HUGE I think each is having 20 Kg

We hope that one day we can share our fun with you!

If you are ready to join us please sign up to this link http://www.km33.com/index.php/sign-for-boat-trip.html and we will contact you as soon we have a trip available

{magandaako1977} Yes swimming is at least necessary and required. I know some of the divers are not really good in swimming and I know 2 guys personally. I tell you why.... Scuba Divers has gears that help you float in the surface and we called that BCD (Buoyancy Control Device) it's life life vest when you fully inflate it..... Why not try sign up for Discover Scuba Diving and you can check if you like it or not. PM me for your e-mail or call me +974 5086973

Oww! How I wish I can join the diving lesson. They said you have to know how to swim first before getting into diving. Anyway, can i know how much is the diving lesson fee if possible? Thank you again.

{roycef1} We are still trying to get the concrete of the Wreck Story... We already have some ideas but I'm trying to do a research about facts.... We just started to explore the wreck since last year, so these days we are very familiar....

Some story that we know is this Ship is a LNG Tanker bombarded by Iraq or Iran during Iraq and Iran war in mid 80's...

Here some things I'm building;

1. Ship structure and drawings (40% Work in progress)

2. Brief Story (Facts)

If anyone can share please don't hesitate to contact me...

{EXLegend} Most of the dive we done is in easy entry and easy exit. Swimming skill is recommended and mostly recommended is Scuba Diving Skill and License.

{220v} Please sign up from the link and I will fit you to next trip.

{rew} Yes I still have more photo, also I'm doing video editing now and hope this will be done in a week... more interesting view of the Ship wreck.

{The Observer} YES it is 90 KM East from Corniche, requires boat and traveling approximately 1:30 hrs on good sea condition.
