Calling Help in Shifting my Personnel Car to ABU DHABI
I will relocate to ABU DHABI within two weeks to work there and i need your help in the one of the following decisions regarding transfer my car there:
1. Let one of my friends send it to me upon issuance my residency through one of the shipping companies? if yes, how much does it cost? the required paper, WIll my friend be able to finalize the procedure here in QATAR on behalf of me?.
2. After getting my residency there i can come through visit visa and drop my car along with my home things and drive it to ABU DHABI in such weekend? if yes, Can i take a visa in DOHA airport to enter again? What is the document required to transfer my car to ABU DHABI by driving?, if i have some light used home things to transferred (vacuum cleaner, microwave, 2 big bags 32" containing my family cloths). Is there a custom fees on such used personnel things?. Could i expect that the issue will move smoothly reaching ABU DHABI.
Quick advice will be appreciated.
travel by land going to abu dhabi using your personal car then when you are already in abu dhabi,you can transfer the registration to the abu dhabi traffic department.
