Hi Friends,
A friend of mine bought a web e-ticket of Jet Airways few days back through his credit card. Now the Airlines has reduced the fare by Qr. 550/-. Do you guys think that he will get a refund from the Airlines? What shall he do now. The Cancellation fee is only Qr. 100/-. Is it advisable to cancel and ask for a refund and buy a fresh ticket at Qr. 1530/-? When he checked with Jet Airways Office they told him that it is a hassle to get the refund if he cancel the ticket on line (there is a provision to cancel and refund but the money will be refunded to the Credit card).

He will not get a refund.

You could try booking again at the lower fare & then cancel the old one.

For 430QAR it seems worthwhile trying to book another ticket first then cancelling the current one.

Anyways your luck and forget about indulging in refund process....buy one more ticket at lower cost for future travelling.
