good question Qlfan, i appreciate your willingness to ask the needy question.

its been 6 or 7 years the digging process has started near my home at Binomran and the worst i am experiencing nowadays. getting to doha is a long way round and the same to reach my home, though its just a minute walk from the main-road(the way leading to sports roundabout from Games Village Signal)

the painful thing is to see dad losing his customers and business day by day due to this never ending repair works or cabling works.

somedays you wake up hearing the thunder sound of drill machines digging the tarmac. narrowing of already congested roads by placing heavy equipments and barricades, dithces..

i see people fight for parking space since they could not park in their own building..

i pray when this is going to end.its realy tough seeing the road blocks and repairs works one afte other...water department nor electric cabling, 66kv line..,etc...its like a curse that never ends believe me the road next to my home is closed for nearly two years..disgusting isn't it....

may be because no VIP's stay on this lane that no one wants to care nor people are absent mindedly blaming themselves rather than handing a petition to Ashghal to end this agony.

hoping for the best.....

the location is not only limited to madinat khalifa (south) wherein the badluck wheels lose their control on those pits.

After their digging project got handed over(!) the recent rain worsen the situation everywhere, as it drained out the carelessly back-filled sand.

Instead of just discussing, in order to thrash-out those kind of issues, will the QL provide a space for complaints from readers & arrange pronouncing government official?

I am sure QL & its readers have such potential.

its kinda like MS Windows!!! They release a new OS with a lot of bugs, then continuously keep sending u slow downloading, reboot requiring updates to rectify one prob at a time!!! and just when things r settling down, the come out with a new 1!!!

Similarly, they lay the road, then realize they forgot to lay the power cable, then realize they forgot to lay the drainage pipes, then the telecom pipes!!! By then the plans for the area has been changed, so road works are cancelled!!!

They would usually wait for a road to open, and then close 2 weeks later for "Road works"
