*** Doha 2 Dubai ***

G'day all,

Am thinking of travelling to Dubai for the weekend. Can any one advise what is the cheapest option to Dubai?

From what I can gather, Emirates and Qatar Air are the only airlines that fly between Doha-Dubai, and each charge QR1190 return!

It would be much appreciated if any one can share some light.

Cheers,
Don

check skyscanner.net, it should give you prices for all flight from departure point to arrival point.

Don, come out of Sharjah airport, get in a taxi and say "Dubai please". It's that easy!

Cheapest option? Swim the 60 or so km's across the ocean at the closest point between Qatar and UAE.

But I always wondered, can you hire a boat for a couple of days, or borrow one from a friend and just sail from Doha to Dubai that way?

Thanks Lamea for the heads up,

Just checked; Air Arabia only travels to Sharjah (for QR940 return).

Am worry I wouldn't know my way to Dubai as I have never been to Sharjah... :oS On this note, is it difficult to travel from Sharjah airport to Dubai?

Cheers,

Don

Funnily enough, I am and have been living in Bahrain for the past year, but will be calling Qatar home as of this Friday (n.b. not by my choice by the way).

We need to pay visit to friends in Dubai in a couple of weeks time, hence the query.

The ironic thing is that I could fly from Bahrain - Dubai for QR550!

I guess it's pretty doom that I have to pay the high price huh?

Cheers,

Don

Ow,

Why Dubai?

It is dead!!! Go to Bahrain with Bahrain Airways. Should not be more than QR 600-800.
