Les Excentriques their dancing, music and costumes were very enjoyable. especially for the kids.
Unbelievable, what would Qatar be if there was no QL?!!!!
Who ever is running the communication / promotion / tourism departments, have actually asked for a feedback to see how bad these areas are covered in Qatar?
If not, I strongly recommend to do it otherwise, tourism will still be forwarded to Dubai for a long long time and when the Qatari officials realize that, it might just be too late!!!!
i'm open to your idea baldrick...
Sounds like that's the venue for the Tuesday photo shoot on 18th then :O)
Did you Google it first?
@novi- the show is in Porto Arabia and the large parking area is across the bay. you have to actually go past the Porto Arabia, then cross the bridge to get to the parking area. there are golf carts that will take you the site and if you decide to walk it will take you 3-5 mins.
@mall- car is a must cause there's no taxi cab over there
:-(
How far do you park to see the show? as far as i know the parking space in The Oyster is very limited.
.are there taxi cab in the pearl???
.after the show, how do you get back to Doha if you don't have a car?
.
Is it a marketing campaign?? sonds interesting.
the mall buldings are almost complete but there are big posters on many walls so i guess interior works are still going on...the residential buildings are still under construction though...
from what I’ve heard, the mall off porta Arabia is nearly completed, right?
I haven’t been there yet, planning to do so over the weekend…
i was there last saturday (nov 1). guards didnt ask for pass or tickets...and there are personnel at every round abouts to guide you through...
the oyster is the sales & marketing centre at the pearl.
Novi/ genesis...This is happening in the Pearl rght?? whats Oyster then?, a hotel?

baldrick, if you go down to west bay . turn right on the big roundabout to go to the Ritz. Then you will see some chaos and construction. If you turn left you go to zig zag and Ritz, you go straight instead , drive further down you will see The Oyster.
Passes can be obtained at the oyster. I have no idea about the fees though as i have recieved my pass by mail
Well as most of the Pearl is still under construction I reckon it will be pretty easy to find once you get there!
1 question:
Where is it? (do you have a map / directions ofr how to find it)
Did you Google it first?
Are tickets required for these events or do we just turn up?
