Qtel’s special Free Family Fun Festival is set to draw large numbers of people from across Qatar starting today, with a wave of exciting entertainments for people of all ages.

The event runs from 4pm until 10pm at ASPIRE Park, behind Villagio Mall, on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Special passes have been available at Qtel’s range of new Concept Stores at Landmark, Hayat Plaza, Villagio, Salwa Road, and Al Wakra all week and the response has been very strong. Customers can still get passes for the event throughout the weekend.

The Free Family Fun Festival will include a host of special activities and games, and people will be able to access the event for free with a special pass.

Among the highlights of the festival will be a performance of Peplum & Othello, the comic spectacular, and Comic Acrobats, three times a day.

Qtel’s Family Fun Festival will also offer international games including Gladiator Jousting, Bouncy Boxing, Sumo Wrestling, Bungee Run, Bungee Basketball and an Electronic Penalty Shootout.

Qtel volunteers have been all work all-day today setting up the range of games, slides and rides, all of which can be used for free for families with the special wristbands.

In addition, the Free Family Fun Festival will also have a range of areas set aside for people to relax in and watch the entertainment. In all, this will be one of the biggest and most varied free festivals organized in Qatar this year.

Waleed Al Sayed, Executive Director, Customer Service, Qtel, said: “We are very excited by the range of games and activities available at the Free Family Fun Festival, and feel sure that there will be something to entertain everyone. We hope to bring the whole community together this weekend, to enjoy the beautiful weather and to spend some quality time with their families.”

The Free Family Fun Festival has been designed as a special “Thank You” for customers, for using the new generation of Concept Stores.
