Hello everybody, for those of you interested in collecting fossils in Qatar I was recently sent from a friend a link to an 82 page fossil document about the fossils of Qatar. This document can be freely downloaded from http://leblanc.jacques.googlepages.com/fossilhome

I found the publication very informative. It explains about where to find the fossils (shark teeth, sea urchins, mollusks, etc...) in the countries. Apparently the author is also planning a second edition in 2009.

I was told that one person found petrified wood in Qatar in 2007 but I have no more details. If yourself happen to learn more about this, I would also aprreciate that you share the info. Thanks
