Help Mojo81 Choose his December holiday spot!

Guys,

I'm really torn apart here, I'm hungry yet very sleepy and have done a numeracy test for a potential new job...and furthermore its September and still haven't chosen where to go in December holidays.

My single criteria is as follows:

Temperature to be warm, not too cold

I do have options of either going back to Australia(home), Malaysia, UK, Pakistan, Oman, UAE but I want to try something different (and some of these places are cold).

The mere suggestion of going to Cuba or to Vietnam to the family got them upset.

So if you can tell me any tourist safe place where I wouldn't be sleeping on the sidewalks or dodging potential pirates, or avoiding man eating bees than I'm game to try it.

But on a serious note...I would like to know your opinion on this one.

Travel time would be quite long (and that would be what would knock it out of the running in my book), but I think it would be fabulous!

Anywhere in Latin America would be great...Brazil, Costa Rica, Mexico, etc.

Other December vacation possibilities (that are closer to Doha):

Egypt - Sharm Al Sheikh/Red Sea would be nice

Maldives - but it's pricey!

Thailand - can't go wrong with Thailand!

Indonesia - Bali and Lombok are lovely -- still some unrest in the country, though, and it may rain a bit

South Africa -- can get quite hot, but great animal parks

India - Goa, Kerala, other more southern areas will be warm

Mauritius and Seychelles - warm and tropical but possibly rainy

The world is your oyster! Have a great trip, wherever you go!
