My friend says the place is close to the hospital (Hamad, i presume) They have a tent installed with amenities like kitchen, bathroom etc. I dont plan to do water sports because its my first time there, i dont know what to expect.

Lookin out 4 a family outing? Would advice you 2 head out 2 Al Ghariya... Cos, its the last of the clean places you could get to spend a lovely day with your family. Al khor, well... the landscaping is nice, but i doubt the beach is gud. Did a photoshot there and i did find that the place was a bit messed up due to the current set of family heading out there but leaving their waste behind. :(
