Here at Al-Waab Street there was a loud thunderstorms and enough raining for Doha. This is my first winter here and I think it was one of the rare scenes of Doha.
HAHA .... It's winter... last winter it was raining a whole week without stopping and the degree was 8 .... it was amaaaaaaazing .. I hope this winter also In Sha Allah ... Enjoy
it was my first time in the gcc and i find it so weird to see rain in desert region, and about the thunder, i think it was due to the combustion of too much heat and incoming coldness, the pea size ice is due to the cold air but wasnt turn into snow because of insufficient coldness that is why it melts so fast, but really i find it weird to rain in the desert and it was amazing
Sad, but why? Atleast in Doha, one shudn't sad. There are some places in the world where when rain falls, many houses are destroyed or flooded by water, many people became homeless, those are the places to sad, why here?
really nice pic. i had this feeling of awe when i saw the heavy rain and heard the thunder, thisis my first time to experience heavy rain since i gothere in Doha and to see those small white things, amazing...
Coming from a country where it rains every other day, today was a wonderful surprise. It was nice to see rain falling gloriously from the sky and as if that wasn't enough, there was thunder and lightning too. Let us all enjoy this different kind of weather while it lasts and for those who are on the road, please be extra careful with your speed and mind the puddles of water.
I was in Villagio Mall this morning and Virgin Megastore, H&M and other store had to close because of loads of water coming into the Shops. It was extreme water and it reminds me of the 2 weeks before Asian Games in 2006 where we faced similar floods of water. And of course this was the day for me to choose the Convertible for shopping, not a good choice...
.saw these small pellet of ice earlier this afternoon on our way to villagio.
.
.it was so clear against the green grass-like carpet infront of Khalifa stadium....
.
.i couldn't believe it so, i opened my window, and when some of these ice fall inside and actually have metled on my palm, then i said, wow, amazing.......
