I can guarantee you that you will not regret in choosing Thai Airways..Yes our co QL'ers hre are correct Thai Airways is considered one of the best airlines.. as well as Singapore Airlines & of course Qatar Airlines... Their service is one of the best... I will not think twice...definetely I will choose Thai Airways...food and service are great...
Thai Air which is a Star Alliance Partner is a great Airline. Service is great, Leg room is the Same as Lufthansa and SAS. I have flown with them several times from Europe to Asia and it is my preferred Airlines.
Thai Airlines is considered to be among the best in the world, on par with the likes of Singapore Airlines, Kingfisher Airlines, Qatar Airways, Malaysian Airlines. It is among a select few having a five star rating. also, Bangkok airport is supposedly amazing. I'd fly them in a heartbeat :)
I like them very much. You will have to change aircraft in BKK which is a good airport. The crew and food are quite pleasant on Thai and the seating configuration is pretty standard. But do a cost comparison on kayak.com because I'd think that most of the long-haul airlines DOH-SYD would be pretty much the same for service but maybe not for price. I would choose the best price, one-stop (or non-stop) airline.
