Why do some people from some parts of Asia spit in public? I find it incredibly annoying.

their reaction is funny...some of them do the sound and stop when hearing the angry horn behind them...so the spit is stuck inside their mouths :D :D :D

Disgusting and very dirty. If some are fined in public on a serious note then maybe people will be aware, just like being fined for traffic voilation hope we will find some robo's installed very soon to detect spitting and littering people around

When they open the car door and spit on the road next to me I just wash my windscreen and use the wipers to splash them !

It's a disgusting habit, but once again it's due to the lack of respect people have for others nearby!

Not only that; i've seen people chewing some red kind of sedative and spitting it here and there!!! Although the fine is 500, i've never heard of anyone being fined unfortunately.

It's absolutely disgusting - makes me want to throw up. Recently I went to Lulu hypermarket as well, and I was the next in the line to pay for my items, then the guy behind the cashier made that noise and turned round and let out the biggest spit - sorry for details, but i was literally about to throw up so i took my items and went to someone else, im sorry but that is absolutely disgusting.

It is unhealthy too,

I have seen very health conscious people spitting on the field while playing football and on the track while running.

The only way to decrease this is to spread awareness especially through public forums like these.
